*Karur:* With the vision of empowering and showcasing the technological process of both rural and urban women students, *Arivial Sangam Tamil Nadu* successfully organized the grand *"Brilliant Bharath Hackathon"* at *Sri Saradha Niketan College of Arts and Science for Women, Karur*
The event saw active participation from numerous female student teams from colleges in and around Karur, who brought forward their highly innovative ideas.
Key Themes of the Hackathon
1. Digital India & Rural Development: Software solutions designed to uplift rural communities and livelihoods.
2. Women's Safety Technology: Mobile applications and smart features ensuring the safety and security of women.
3. Environment & Waste Management: Eco-friendly ideas contributing towards a cleaner and sustainable nation.
Participating teams were given a tight 8 - hour window to develop functional solutions and software solutions for the problem statements assigned to them. During the final round, the teams delivered impressive solutions of their projects before an esteemed panel of judges.

The intense competition brought together over 30 teams representing leading engineering and technology institutions from across Tamil Nadu.

Throughout this demanding non-stop 24 hours hackathon, students worked tirelessly through the night. Guided by industry mentors, they converted complex lines of code into viable hardware and software prototypes, leaving the audience and evaluators thoroughly impressed by their dedication.

Following a rigorous evaluation by a jury consisting of corporate and technical experts, the top 3 projects demonstrating the highest commercial viability and technical excellence were awarded grand prizes, internships and the prestigious "Brilliant Bharath Innovator" awards.
